Hesham brings to CI Capital Investment Banking 13 years of experience in investment banking and private equity across the MENA region, having worked in regional financial centers including Dubai, Jeddah and Cairo. Hesham was previously with Beltone Financial, where he led numerous transactions including the largest IPO executed in Egypt in 2010. He was earlier Head of Principal Investments based in Dubai for Shuaa Capital, a role he assumed after serving as Director of Principal Investments at Dubai Capital Group, the MENA-focused investment arm of Dubai Holding. Hesham also has experience as a banker at Swicorp, where he advised regional and international institutions and family offices on M&A and debt & equity financings out of Jeddah and Cairo. He holds a BA in Economics from the American University in Cairo and completed Executive Education at Harvard Business School.
Salah joins CI Capital with more than 10 years of transactional and operational experience, most recently as CFO of Sixth of October Development & Investment Company (SODIC) and member of the company's Board & Executive Committee. During his tenure at SODIC, Salah contributed in developing the SODIC franchise into a leading real estate developer in Egypt, with one of the strongest brands in the market and a highly institutionalized governance and management structure. Prior to SODIC, Salah was with EFG-Hermes Investment Banking, where he worked on a number of high profile transactions including the US$ 1.0bn acquisition of Al Watany Bank of Egypt, the US$ 710m private placement of Solidere International and the US$ 981m acquisition of Vodafone by Telecom Egypt.
